DC's Notes
The first time I saw these, I actually leaned in close to check if they were real embroidery. They aren't, but every single one looks as though it was stitched by hand, thread by thread, on soft linen.
They're made of clear, waterproof PET with adhesive already on the back, so you simply peel and press. There are six color stories to choose from: Pink Blossom Shadow, Butterflies Among Flowers, Violet Fragrant Bush, Golden Sun Blooms, White Wild Herbs, and Red Floral Cluster. Each pack holds 15 stickers, filled with tied bouquets, iris and wisteria, peonies and sunflowers, lilies of the valley, ripe cherries, butterflies, and a few little swallows in flight.
What I love most is the look of the thread. You can follow the direction of every stitch, the soft shading across each petal, even the tiny knot of string holding a bouquet together. It takes me back to the samplers and handkerchiefs our mothers and grandmothers kept folded away in a drawer, the kind of handwork that took a whole season to finish.
If your journal leans vintage, botanical, cottage garden, or junk journal, these will feel right at home.
