DC's Notes
Every winter, I find myself longing for a little fairy tale magic, and this paper pack captures exactly that feeling, like opening an old storybook on a snowy evening.
Inside you'll find a winter fairy on delicate wings in a flowing blue patchwork gown, a reindeer dressed in all its finery pulling a sleigh, a young woman riding a white horse through a frosted forest, and a lady standing on a castle balcony with little red robins perched nearby. There are quieter pages too: a soft sunrise over snowy hills, a cozy cabin tucked among snow-covered pines, a shimmering snowflake background, and an elegant silver blue damask. Many of the pages are trimmed with blue and white lace and porcelain-style borders, which remind me of the blue and white china plates in my grandmother's kitchen.
There are 8 designs, two of each, for 16 sheets in all. Each sheet measures about 5.7*8.3 inches, a generous size that works beautifully as a full page background, or can be cut into smaller pieces for collage. The colors are soft and wintry, icy blues, creams and silvers with little touches of gold and red, full of that quiet winter charm.
