DC’s Notes
Have you ever picked up a pretty leaf and pressed it between the pages of a book?
When I was little, I’d gather the prettiest leaves on my walk home from school and press them flat inside the thickest book in the house. Months later, I’d open it up and there they’d be, a little faded but still just as lovely. This tape brings all those leaves back to me.
One roll feels like an armful of autumn. There are maple leaves in every shade, from deep crimson and burnt orange to soft, mellow gold. There are ginkgo leaves, acorns, chestnuts and little mushrooms, along with those maple seeds we used to toss into the air as children, just to watch them twirl back down. There’s even a cozy wreath of leaves gathered around a pinecone, with tiny sparkles scattered in between, like afternoon sunlight filtering through the trees. Every single leaf is drawn with delicate, beautiful veins.
If autumn has always been your favorite season, I think this roll will feel just right.
