DC's Notes
This set was inspired by Sherlock Holmes and Victorian London, a world of fog-draped streets, old letters and clues just waiting to be found. If you, too, once curled up in an armchair with a good mystery novel, these postcards may carry you right back to those quiet afternoons.
There are 30 postcards in all, each with its own design. You'll find Big Ben and the Thames, the classic silhouette of the detective in his deerstalker hat, gentlemen strolling with walking canes, graceful ladies reading letters by the window, old London theater tickets, vintage keys, pocket watches, Gothic cathedrals, yellowed newspapers, handwritten letters sealed with wax, airmail envelopes and postage stamps from the 1930s. Every card is steeped in warm sepia tones, so the whole set feels like a bundle of letters someone has treasured for a hundred years.
They're printed on sturdy, high quality white card stock with crisp, clear details. The back of each card features a simple, classic postcard layout, so you can truly write a few lines and send one to a friend.
