This is a silver glitter tape made from special paper. The whole roll is dusted with a fine, frosty shimmer, like the first frost on a windowpane, with patterns pressed on top in bright mirror silver. There are six designs: butterflies, bows, hearts, little paw prints, twinkling stars, and tiny daisies. Some shapes are solid and glossy, others are drawn in just a delicate outline, so every time you tilt the page, the light dances across them a little differently.
It reminds me of the tinsel on an old Christmas tree, or the silver ribbon on a present someone wrapped just for you. That’s why I reach for it as often for gifts as I do for my journal. Wind it around a small box, seal an envelope with it, or run a strip along the edge of a page to give a favorite photo a little frame.
It’s lovely for holiday spreads, snowy winter themes, and elegant or vintage romantic journals.
