This clip is shaped like a fleur-de-lis, the graceful lily emblem you'll often spot on wrought-iron gates, antique furniture and old family crests. It comes in two finishes. The gold one is bright and gleaming, while the antique bronze one has a soft, timeworn look, like a treasure tucked at the bottom of a jewelry box in an old family home.
It's made of solid zinc alloy with an electroplated finish, so it has a lovely weight in your hand without feeling bulky. Inside is an extra-thick double-torsion spring that holds your pages firmly and won't slip off, yet it opens easily with just your fingertips. At about 1.38 inches tall and 0.87 inches wide, it sits neatly and securely right on the edge of a page.
